On the dawn of our 8th season of Kerb Appeal, we are looking forward to the warmer weather and getting your gardens ready for spring.
Unfortunately, Liam has torn the cartilage in his knee and requires surgery. He will need to take 3 months off work, but the doctors have high hopes of a full recovery allowing him to continue in the gardening profession with no long term side effects. The operation cannot be delayed until the off season, so he is due to go under the knife in mid-March.
I had recruited someone to cover for Liam, but I have been let down at the very last minute. Fear not, myself, Ben and Jimmy will keep the maintenance of your garden up to the high standard you are accustomed to.
On a brighter note, my wife Jenna is expecting our first child on April 9th, so life as we know it will change dramatically! I am sure you will understand that I will be taking some paternity leave in April to get to know mini Moss. I will of course, as always, be keeping a close check on the maintenance team.
Clearly the timings of the 2 events are not ideal, but that’s the hand we have been dealt! If you have any concerns or new directives about your garden maintenance, please speak to the gardeners on site or via the maintenance hotline, or I will always be available to take (or at least reply to) your call.
The pricing will remain the same as last season. The rates are:
£16.50 per man per hour
£3.50 per visit fuel surcharge
£5 per large dumpy bag of green waste we take away
Best wishes for a great 2015,
Andy Moss
